If you love anime and manga, you will love Tokyo. We spent more than two days in the famous place of Akihabara, Nakano and at the Jump Shop to explore the wonderful sortiment of anime figures, toys, decorations, accessoires and many more. You can leave with a empty wallet but have gained wonderful figures of your favourite anime characters.
You can also enjoy the famous J-World Tokyo where you can fly like SonGoku, fight with him and use KameHameHa, collect the seven dragon balls and solve mysteries to get them, ride the famous Flying Lamb, help Chopper save Ruffy from a disease, walk through Konoha and enjoy many more anime adventures.
Of course we didn’t plan our trip to Japan without savouring every event that deals with Anime. So we went to the biggest Anime convention in the world: Anime Japan where we waited at least two hours in line to get there (with pre-ordered tickets of course) and walked amongst 10.000 people through the huge halls decorated with lots of colourful anime pictures and advertisement. It was great to see how many people love anime, eventhough there was only a handful of cosplayers there. Too bad that the Japanes themselves are not that crazy when it comes to dressing up as their famous anime character or even wearing anime clothes.
It was a great experience but since we had been to many conventions before, it was nonetheless a tiny bit disappointing. There could have been more anime games, more collectibles, etc.
